Anu Haapanen (b. 1981) is a Helsinki-based visual artist working across a wide range of contemporary art practices. She graduated as a visual artist from Lahti Art Institute and holds a Master of Arts degree from Aalto University (ViCCA programme). In addition, she earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Art History from University of Helsinki.
Haapanen works with a diverse range of media, from oil and ink painting to charcoal drawing, moving image, and installation. Her works have been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
During Konstrundan, visitors are welcome to explore my studio and my works, and to discuss my art and working process with me. Paintings and drawings will be on display in the studio space.
