Information about the artist / the group

I paint landscapes and create small wood sculptures. Paint and its nature have always been the starting points and ideas in my work. Exploring the horizon is my eternal project. For my wood sculptures, I collect wood along the way. I paint, carve, and combine small pieces of wood to build, for example, a mushroom, a banana, or a doghouse. My sculptures are often humorous metaphors about life and existence.

Driving directions

Meilahti's Tilajakamo is located in the former old health care / nursing college at Tukholmankatu 10. The entrance is recognizable from Gunnar Finne's relief 'Health Care' from 1939. Stogis - Pieni Aulagalleria (small art gallery) is also located in the lobby of the building.

The building does not have its own parking area or guest spaces - prefer public transport! By bus 25 - stop Tukholmankatu. Bus lines 20, 30, 500 and 510 also bring to the area. Likewise trams 4 and 7. Check the HSL route guide for updated information!

Accessibility with help: There is a low platform in front of the main door, there are doorsteps and you need help to open the door. Stopping is prohibited in front of the main door, but you can stop on the inner courtyard road at the edge of the house. Otherwise, access in the lobby is barrier-free and there is a disabled toilet in the premises. The building has elevators a to the upper floors.

My studio is on the 7th floor.
