Anna Kesäniemi is a Helsinki-based visual artist working primarily with ceramics and illustration. Colours, patterns and themes drawn from nature are central to her artistic practice. Her work is driven by hands-on making and a curiosity about how an idea takes shape as a tangible piece. Her works are characterized by a strong illustrative expression, a distinctive use of colour, and meticulous attention to detail. Kesäniemi’s work has been exhibited in Finland and internationally.
