Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist from Lappeenranta. I graduated with a Bachelor of Culture and Arts in Fine Arts in Lappeenranta in the summer of 2024. Together with my former classmate, Senni Koskenvesa, I founded an artists’ commune.
Currently, our house is home to two visual artists, one fine arts student, and a graphic designer. The artists’ studio spaces are located on the ground floor of the house. My primary technique is oil-based woodcut printmaking. In addition, I work with sculpture and textile art. In May–June 2026, I will spend four weeks in an artist residency in Japan, studying traditional Japanese watercolor woodcut. My goal is to incorporate watercolor woodcut into my own artistic working.

Program during Konstrundan

Konstrundan at the artists’ commune on Paraistentie offers visitors plenty to see, from the works displayed in the living room to the studio spaces downstairs. During your visit, you can take your time viewing the artworks and engage in conversation with the artists themselves. Visitors have the opportunity to purchase artworks and related products directly from the artists. As part of the tour, we serve coffee and pastries.
