Information about the artist / the group

I studied classical painting in the Renaissance city of Florence, and I would say that Renaissance blooms also in my work as it covers painting, photography, cyanotype and works with natural materials.
I am inspired by collective subconscious and also by forests and animals. Animals have always had important roles in mythology around the world, and those ancient stories are sometimes reflected in my work.
Symbolism has also been something I’ve studied, and I often use symbols in my work to weave together different meanings. I do hope though that my paintings speak to the viewers also intuitively, and that you sense positive energy as you pause for a while to study them.

Program during Konstrundan

Visitors are welcome to my pop in my workroom in the old school building. During the weekend I will be working on a large painting, and I’m happy to take pauses and chat. There will be opportunities to make artsy purchases, and there’s also a small coffee bar.
