Information about the artist / the group

I am Kaisa Hart, a visual artist based in Turku and a facilitator of creative practice. I primarily work with abstract painting, where layering, an intuitive process, and the dialogue between colour and materials are central elements. I paint mainly with acrylic on canvas, and my works often emerge slowly – building up layer by layer. In my art, I explore presence, inner space, and how the painting process can serve as a tool for reflection and experience. My approach is experimental and material-driven, and my studio is a space where the unfinished and courageous exploration are welcomed. In my studio, you are invited to discover my working environment and learn more about my creative process. I am happy to share how my works come into being and to answer any questions. Welcome!

Program during Konstrundan

The studio will have open doors throughout the entire event. Finished and in-progress abstract paintings will be on display. I will share insights into my working process and layered painting techniques. During the day, I will give short demonstrations using acrylic paints and inks, and you are warmly invited to try the materials yourself if you wish!
