Information about the artist / the group

I am a visual artist, curator, and painter based in Helsinki. My abstract paintings are created primarily with oil paints and oil pastels, but I work broadly within the field of contemporary art and also make small ceramic sculptures. In my artistic practice, painting is intertwined with meditation practices and the use of intuitive knowledge that arises through mindful presence. My works have been exhibited in recent years in solo exhibitions in Helsinki and Lahti, as well as in group exhibitions in New York and as part of the London Fashion Week program.

Driving directions

Meilahti's Tilajakamo is located in the former old health care / nursing college at Tukholmankatu
10. The entrance is recognizable from Gunnar Finne's relief 'Health Care' from 1939. Stogis -
Pieni Aulagalleria (small art gallery) is also located in the lobby of the building.
The building does not have its own parking area or guest spaces - prefer public transport! By
bus 25 - stop Tukholmankatu. Bus lines 20, 30, 500 and 510 also bring to the area. Likewise
trams 4 and 7. Check the HSL route guide for updated information!

Accessibility with help: There is a low platform in front of the main door, there are doorsteps
and you need help to open the door. Stopping is prohibited in front of the main door, but you can
stop on the inner courtyard road at the corner of the house. Otherwise, the lobby is accessible, and the premises have an accessible restroom. The building has elevators a to the upper
floors.
