Information about the artist / the group

Paula Holopainen (b. 1948) lives and works in Vantaa, Finland. She holds of Bachelor of Philosophy degree from the University of Helsinki and graduated as a painter from the Free Art School in Helsinki. She has held solo exhibitions for 36 years and participated in numerous group exhibitions in Finland and abroad.

Her works are included in the collections of the Finnish State, the Jenny ja Antti Wihurin rahasto, and the City of Vantaa, among others. She has worked as a drawing teacher at the Free Art School and as a painting teacher at art institutes in Vantaa and Helsinki.
