Eve-Ly Villberg is an Estonia-born painter and calligrapher who has now moved to live in Åland. Her primary medium of expression is oil painting, in which she combines a sensitive sense of colour, the play of light, and a deep emotional presence.

In earlier years, flowers were at the centre of her work – memories from the garden of her childhood home. In recent years, however, the sea with its thousand faces has increasingly become her source of inspiration. Her particular favourites are sunrises and sunsets, which offer wonderful colourful spectacles. For her, the sea reflects both the rhythms of nature and the states of the soul.

Program during Konstrundan

During Konstrundan, a selection of seascapes and flower paintings in oil technique will be on display. The artist will present her work, different painting techniques, and tools. Visitors who are interested will have the opportunity to try oil painting themselves, using various brushes and tools available on site.
